I love my job. Being a vet in my home town is a great privilege. I qualified with distinction in Medicine from the Dick Vet College, Edinburgh in 1987. In 2002, I was the first vet in Northern Ireland to successfully complete the RCVS Certificate of Small Animal Medicine (the word “Certificate” perhaps fails to fully reflect the complexity and difficulty of this extra qualification – hard work!).
My Certificate, a post-graduate qualification, has facilitated a very high standard of diagnosis and therapy at Cedarmount, and in addition to our own patients, we now see referral cases in all aspects of internal medicine. From cancer care to renal disease, from cardiac cases to hypertension control, we aim to offer a first rate service.
